Irish dancing is a traditional Gaelic or Celtic style that has remained eminently popular throughout the world for generations. The style is characterised by intricate foot work and is famous for being performed with a stiff upper body. During their performance, Irish dancers seldom move their arms. This is done to accent the footwork.

Solo & Group Performances

Do you prefer dancing solo or is performing in a group more your thing? What if you could do both? That’s one of the great things about Irish dancing—it can be performed on your own or in groups of 20 or more trained dancers!

Students from Keltikka Performance Dance Company will have the opportunity to take part in Irish dance grade examinations. They will also have the chance to perform in local, national and international contests through the World Irish Dance Association.
