New Workshop Series
Well, here we are into the Dry Season already and we are launching the first of our new series of workshops. We will be having a full on intensive technique workshop on the weekend of Saturday June 21 and Sunday June 22. This is the end of Term 2 and is actually the first weekend of the June-July four week school holidays. This workshop will have four seperate sessions, and effectively cover the day from 9am - 4pm.

Sessions
The Saturday morning session will start off with a half hour of Meet & Greet with our wonderful visiting TCRG. Then its time to get into it from 9am - 12 noon. We will stop for lunch from 12noon to 1pm. Then back into it all again from 1pm - 4pm. Our teaching staff will have a half hour break and then keep going until 7pm. Sunday will be much the same lineup, but we will start off at 9am with the morning session. Break for lunch at 12 noon and then back into it again for the afternoon session. Parents can ask questions after the afternoon session finishes. Then the teaching staff will be back into it all again until 7pm. The purpose of having extra time with our teaching staf is so that they can continue in regular classes, fixing any issues that individual dancers may have, without it impacting on the flow of the workshop sessions.

Who Can Attend?
All students registered as Keltikka dancers are eligible to attend. As this is the first on a series of ongoing workshops, it would be a good idea for all dancers to attend as many sessions as they can. New Beginners right through to those who have been dancing for awhile will benefit greatly from the knowledge and training that will be available. Unfortunately, we have to limit these workshops to being inhouse, so only Keltikka dancers can attend. If you wish to take part in this workshop you need to let us know asap. If you are not a Keltikka dancer yet, now is the time to join us.

What Do I Need to Bring?
Your dance bag - and in that dance bag should be : your shoes (hard shoes and soft shoes); proper socks; bandaids; waterbottle; your dance folder; a good attitude; and your lunch. You might also want to bring things like a camera to take photos AFTER the sessions and a pen and paper to write down instructions. You must bring your lunch with you each day as there is nowhere close by to buy lunch from.
